Biography:

Alfred Broniewski (1869-1941), Polish architectural engineer. Deputy director of the Society for the Construction of Cheap Houses for Officials in Lviv, from 1912 Head of the Department of Architecture of the Galicia region. Chairman of the Examination Commission for builders and member of the Examination Commission for diploma examinations at the Technical University of Lviv. From 1919 Head of the Architectural Department of the Directorate of Public Works of the entire former Austrian partition. From 1927, he was Head of the Construction Bureau for state buildings in the Lviv, Stanislawow, Ternopil and Volyn Voivodships. He declined an offer from the Ministry of Public Works in Vienna to take a chair at the Faculty of Architecture at the Lviv Polytechnic. He retired in 1931. He built the Church of the Elevation of the Holy Cross in Kłodno Velkie and the Building of the National School Board in Lwow.
