Variants of the name:

Paul Landowski (1875-1961) was a French sculptor of Polish origin (his father fought in the January Uprising). He is the author of, among other things, the sculpture of St. Genevieve, the patron saint of Paris, at the Pont de la Tournelle. His best-known work is the monumental sculpture of Christ in Rio de Janeiro. Numerous of his works, once exhibited at the Musée-Jardin Paul Landowski in Boulogne-Billancourt, near Paris, with which the artist made his fortune, can now be seen at the Museum of the Thirties in the Espace Landowski, a cultural centre named after the artist.
