Henryk Łada-Wołodźko of the 1st Wileńska Brigade of the Home Army, commanded by Lieutenant Czesław Grombczewski, pseud. Jurand, was buried in the parish cemetery. This soldier was killed on 22.04.1944 near Majkuny. The grave is located at the edge of the cemetery area covered with graves. On the pedestal under the cross the inscription is engraved: "Henryk Łada - Wołodźko died on 22.04.1944 at the age of 22. Sleep silent hero".
