Tomb of Anne de Brancovan, Geneviève Starzeń and Georges Bibesco

A magnificent circular chapel with a high dome topped with a cross, a faceted entrance with decorative elements, on the sides of which, among other things, are relief palm branches, the entrance topped with a tympanum in which a coat of arms with lion-like keepers, the tympanum surmounted by an eagle in flight, closed by a door of iron bars with meander motifs. Inscriptions: above the entrance (1) and in the chapel (2).

Coat of arms: quadrangular shield in cross. In field I an eagle with a cross with two arms (orthodox) in beak, with flags in talons (field colours unmarked); in field II tricuspid in stripe, upper field red, middle field gold, lower field blue; in field III blue a silver rafter, below which a silver six-rayed star; in field IV blue a golden wall with a gate and a tower surmounted by an eagle, on the wall a knight leading a horse walks on the right from the gate tower. Shield surmounted by a helmet in front (without jewel) covered by a ducal mantle supported by two lions right holding a sword in pole and left a sceptre in pole, below the shield laurel branches emerging from a wreath.

Anna-Élisabeth de Noailles, née Bibesco Bassaraba de Brancovan (born 15 November 1876 in Paris, died 30 April 1933 in Paris), French poet and writer, daughter of Grégoire Bibesco-Bassaraba de Brancovan.

Gheorghe III Bibescu (1804-1873), hospodar of Wallachia, grandfather of Geneviève Bibesco.

According to the Burial Books, in the grave buried: Geneviève Starzynska, born on 29 May 1863 in Mogosoaia (Romania) or on 21 January 1863 in Paris, died on 13 August 1910 in Mauerbach (Austria). She was the daughter of the hospodar Nicolae Bibesco and Marie-Louise Hélène Ney d'Elchingen. In 1892 she married Leonard Count Starzeński, with whom she had two children, Countess Helena and Count Leopold (died 1940) (SNG database). After Geneviève's death, Leonard Count Starzeński married a second time in 1912 to Sophie Louise Starzeńska, who died on 25 May 1919. He was Austro-Hungarian ambassador to the Vatican. In the Bibesco family chapel, where Geneviève is buried, there are no visible inscriptions indicating the burial. Inside the chapel there is a crypt, which is not accessible, where there may be further inscriptions relating to the burials ( http://www.barbarafamily.eu/ ).
