The Museu d'Art in Girona opened an exhibition of Polish artists in Catalonia and paintings by Mela Muter on 24 November 2018. The co-organisers of this event are: Catalan Cultural Heritage Agency, Department of Culture (Generalitat de Catalunya) and POLONIKA Institute, while the co-curators are art historians Gloria Bosch and Susanna Portell and Polish art historian Dr Artur Tanikowski. The exhibition is on view until 23 April 2019.

All the works on display are reproduced in a comprehensive catalogue in Catalan, English and Polish. In addition to texts prepared by the three commissioners of the exhibition, it includes articles by Mercé Doñate, Aitor Quiney, Eva Vazquez and Maria Nawrocka and includes a biography of Polish artists and Mela Muter, as well as an extensive bibliography on the artist's work.

At the same time, it is possible to take part in an extensive programme of events accompanying the exhibition, including a dramatised reading of biographical texts by actors Meritxell Yanes and David Planas, guided tours, family events, a reading club and a series of two-voice dialogues between the artist and experts, including the exhibition commissioners Perre Parramon, Alex Susanna, Carme Clusellas and Eva Vazquez.
