In July 1944, the German army retreating from Vilnius arrested 11 inhabitants of Grzegorzewo and the surrounding villages. This was in retaliation for the shelling of a German military column. The hostages were shot near the Grzegorzewo road - nine people were killed and two managed to escape. The bodies of the victims were buried at the murder site. After some time, they were moved to the cemetery near Gorzhevsk (now this place is within the administrative borders of Vilnius).
. In 2002. Anżelika Gornatkevičiene, owner of a private enterprise, led to the placement of a plaque with the names of the victims on the grave.
The grave is located in the left side of the cemetery, looking from the main entrance, on the hillside, to the left of the monumental Lithuanian commemoration. The grave is separated from the front by a concrete curb. The commemoration on the grave consists of 9 metal crosses, arranged in a row, with a stone plaque under the central cross with the inscription:
. "Ś+P Local residents executed in 1944 by the German occupiers: / Feliks Szadujko / Andrzej Jarosiew / Marcin Olszewski / Bonifacy Olszewski / Jan Kowalewski / Bronisław Czyż / Mikołaj Sosnin / Józef Biedulski / Kazimierz Biedulski".
