Grave of the January Uprising insurgents

Marceli Wilkiewicz, executed for his participation in the January Uprising on 5 June 1864, is buried in the local cemetery. The tombstone inscription also commemorates his brother Andrzej, exiled to Siberia for his participation in the uprising. The tomb is located on the right side of the church. It consists of two fields, framed by curbs, and at the top of them stands a wooden cross with a metal plaque bearing the inscription: "To commemorate the insurgents of 1863 / the late / WILKIEWICZ brothers / Marcelin, executed in Ibian, / and Andrzej, who died in Siberia, / the granddaughters of the Wilkiewicz family / Ewa and Joanna Bolewska / erected this cross in 1938".
