Biography:

Bronisław Wiktor (1886-1961), born in Markowce. He studied in Lviv, at the Faculty of Architecture, at the Technical University. In 1910 he began parallel studies in fine arts at the School of Painting run by Stanisław Batowski Kaczor. In 1917, he became an assistant professor of construction. In 1945, he began working at the Wrocław University of Technology. He was a member of the Association of Polish Architects. He designed many buildings, including the residential colony of twenty-seven houses "Kresowy Dom" on Filipówka and Kwiatkówka in Lviv. In addition, he created several tombstone sculptures in the Lychakiv Cemetery and several dozen watercolours.
