Tombstone of Philoméne Boquèrbe

İstanbul | Turkey

Burial place originally marked by cross on stele and base. Cross perpetuated. Stele closed with a pointed arch. On the stele, on the front, an engraved inscription. The base with chamfered upper edges. The whole enclosed by a band with an iron fence consisting of overlapping curved semicircular tubes joined by a slat.

Inscription:

ICI REPOSO / PHILOMÉNE BOQUÈRBE / née BRUSIK / décéde le + Janvier 1869 / a l’age de 21 ans / SON ÉPOUX / ET SA FAMILLLE DÉSOLÉS / RBH[Z] PUR ELLE //.
