Tombstone of Marie Patella and Nina Czarkowska

İstanbul | Turkey

Burial place marked by a band, at the head of which is a plinth on a two-stage base. The plinth covered by a two-stepped stepped slab which forms the base for the cross. The plinth has a panel on the front, inside of which is a plaque with an engraved inscription (1). Openwork cross, with arms ending in a stylised trillium. Stars at the ends of the arms. At the intersection of the arms a figure of the crucified Christ. Below a floral ornament. On the sides of the cross two figures. Cross and figures on a raised plinth with pointed arch, supported by two columns. Inside of which a figure of an angel in portrait view.

Inscription:

1. MARIE / PATELLI / 1910-1990 / NINA / CZARKOWSKA / 1923-1997 //.
