Plaques commemorating Józef Piłsudski and the anniversary of the Battle of Warsaw in Albania

The church in Bathore on the outskirts of Tirana, which is the first church to be dedicated to a Polish Pope, features a plaque commemorating Jozef Pilsudski. It was placed on the initiative of the Redemptorist priests taking care of the parish at the end of 2017, in connection with the 150th anniversary of the Marshal's birth.

In 2020, on the other hand, a plaque was placed to mark the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Warsaw.

There is also a bust of John Paul II in the church (see more https://baza.polonika.pl/pl/obiekty/150408 ).

Time of origin:
2017 (plaque dedicated to Józef Piłsudski) and in 2020 (plaque commemorating the Battle of Warsaw)
