Tombstone of Felomena and Leopold Piotrowski

Czortków | Ukraine

Burial site originally marked by a figure, probably an angel on a plinth. Figure seated on column with splayed head, hands and right foot possibly also wings. Dressed in a loose robe girdled at the waist. Base of column decorated with vine. Perpendicular pedestal, high, covered by a wider, square panel; on the front a panel with a ritual inscription (first verse above the panel).
