Tombstone of Wanda Leszczyńska

The burial place marked by a cast iron cross on a stele stylised as a pile of stones with a plaque in the form of a scroll. An engraved inscription on the scroll. The whole on a concrete base with four irregular plinths at the corners, connected by a cast iron bar.

line: 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, the inscription in italics. According to the file of Lucjan Uziębła, the pedestals of the fence were originally connected by a metal chain. In Wacław Wejtka's card file, under the letter L, card number 57, dated 1936. According to the file, the location of the gravestone is sector "B1, 7th row, N14. From boundary B towards wall De; ZW 'Cment' k 15 pl N16; GW Przew K 240". A biography of the deceased is included in the file: Wanda Leszczyńska- a young talented dramatic artist of the Vilnius stage under the direction of Szlagier. Born in 1842, she made her debut on the Vilnius stage on 14 May 1860 in a play. 14 May 1860 in the play "Quaker and Dancer" and in "Maria Stuart". She immediately became a favourite with audiences, but a rapidly developing illness interrupted her performances. She died in Vilnius on d. 11 October 1861, aged 19. (W.
