Between the old graves is the grave of Janusz Budzanowski, a scout, a student of the State Commercial High School. He died during the defence of Grodno in September 1939, disabling one of the Soviet tanks. His grave bears the following inscription: "The late Janusz Budzanowski, a student of the State Commercial Lyceum, was killed in the blossom of his youth on 20 September 1939. Rest his soul / In the flower of life your spirit pure on the blue threshold. Flowers of suffering and love he offers to his God. To his son the Mother'.
