Graves of Home Army soldiers, situated next to the quarters from the Polish-Lithuanian War

Just beyond the upper left-hand end of the 1920 battle military quarter are two graves of Home Army (AK) soldiers. They are situated at right angles to the graves of the quarters. Mejszagoła was captured on 11 July 1944 by the 2nd AK "Węgielny" Grouping in cooperation with the Red Army. The fallen and killed soldiers of the AK were buried in the local cemetery. The grave of Henryk Kupo-Balicki was made identical to the gravestones in the military quarters. The inscription on the grave reads: "Kuppo Henryk aged 18 shot by fascists in 1944". Henryk Kuppo is commemorated by a plaque on the Polish school in Mejszagole; there it is stated that he was a student, independently preparing for matriculation, and was killed for suspicion of sabotage. Jozef Adamovich's grave is slightly larger, made of black and white terrazzo. A white marble inscription plaque is set in a stand. The inscription is engraved on it: "Ś+P Partisan Józef Adamowicz 1927-1944 died fighting the Germans".
