Biography:

Tadeusz Maria Rostworowski (1860-1928), Polish architect and painter. He received his education in Warsaw, St Petersburg, Krakow, Munich and Paris. The owner of the pencil factory 'Furtuna'. He built, among others, the Puttkamer palace in Bolcieniki (1890-1896) and the St. Georges Hotel in Vilnius (1893), as well as almost thirty churches in Podlasie and Liwa. He is also credited with the design of the railway station in Rudziszki (probably in collaboration with Hipolit Hryncewicz and Henryk Genello).
