Tombstone of Piotr Kulinyk

Тернопіль | Ukraine

Burial place marked by cross and two statues of N.N. saints on two-stage base and two-stage plinth. Left and upper arms of cross perpetuated. Right arm terminating in stylised trillium form. On the front a relief carved figure of Jesus Christ with suppedaneum. On the sides of the Christ, 2 figures on their own bases, with their heads dislocated. The right-hand figure is also missing part of its arm. Both figures dressed in long, ruffled robes and cloaks. The left figure holds a sword, the right a book. The first step of the plinth finished with moulding. The second step of the plinth covered by a panel, a beam and another panel. In front a panel with quarter circular chamfered corners. Inside an engraved inscription in Polish. On the back a similar panel with an inscription in Ukrainian. On the sides, engraved frames with quarter-circle chamfered corners.
