According to Anna Lewkowska, Jacek Lewkowski and Wojciech Walczak, Adam Pusłowski, son of the owners of the estate in Sienna, was executed for his participation in the January Uprising. To quote the aforementioned authors, "he was buried on the outskirts of the park surrounding the manor, together with his mother. No trace has survived of the manor house. The park was also cut down (...), as a result of which the cross now stands in a field (...). It is a monumental, 6 m high, cast-iron crucifix on a pedestal and multi-sided base. The cuboidal pedestal is finished with a cornice and concave bevels. On the pedestal on an octagonal base stands an octagonal cross supported by four buttresses with a full-plastic figure of the crucified Christ. The panels of the pedestal are depressed and surrounded by profiled frames. In one of the panels, an inscription: 'EWELINA / Z OBUCHOWICZÓW / PUSŁOWSKA / URODZONA D. 1 JANUARY / 1800. / DIED D. 31 MAY / 1880" At the lower side of the base a contemporary rectangular stone inscription plaque with the inscription in Russian: "HERE TOGETHER WITH EWELINA PUSLOWSKA / LIE THE ASHES OF HER SON / ADAM PUSLOWSKI / HE WAS ONE OF THE LEADERS OF THE UPRISING / 1863. IN NOVOGRÓDCZYZNA / FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE UPRISING SHOT / 26. VI. 1863 R. W NOWOGRÓDKU' (translation)."
