Edward Habich (1835-1909), born in Warsaw, engineer, mathematician, graduate of the École nationale des ponts et chaussées, professor of mechanics at the École nationale des ponts et chaussées in Paris, government engineer and director of public works in Lima, member of the Peruvian Geographical Society.
