Tombstone of Franciszek Orloski

The burial place marked by a statue of St Francis on a two-tier plinth and a two-tier base. The figure of the saint on the plinth, shown in counterpoint, wearing a habit girded with a cord and rosary, his feet wearing sandals, a cross in his left hand and a book in his right hand. The first step of the pedestal with chamfered upper edges, on the front an engraved inscription (1). The second step of the pedestal finished with a simplified beam, covered with a wider panel with chamfered upper edges. On the front, a semicircular panel with a relief of St. Magdalene in a counterpoise, wearing a long flowing robe and a mantle, a chalice in her left hand, her right hand at the level of her breast, below an engraved inscription (2). To the rear of the tombstone an added panel with an engraved cross.

Inwentaryzacja cmentarzy dawnego powiatu zbaraskiego rozpoczęta została w roku 2019 przez zespół z Instytutu Historii Sztuki Uniwersytetu Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie pod kierunkiem prof. Anny Sylwii Czyż i dr. Bartłomieja Gutowskiego. Ze względu na pandemię COViD, a następnie działania wojenne prace od roku 2020 zostały wstrzymane. Materiał opracowany został w formie kart ewidencyjnych obiektów zabytkowych i w formie kart inwentaryzacyjnych w katalogu on-line - http://cmentarzetarnopolskie.uksw.edu.pl/. Dokumentacja obejmuje wszystkie nagrobki związane z polskim dziedzictwem kulturowym (przede wszystkim rozstrzygający jest napis w języku polskim) powstałe przed 1945 rokiem.
