Tombstone of Catherine Stachuw

Baworów | Ukraine

Burial site marked by cross on two-stage base and two-stage plinth. Cross on its own plinth with chamfered top edges. The arms of the cross terminate in a trillium and are framed by quarter-scrolls. At the intersection of the arms of the cross a relief of the figure of Christ, above the titulus, below a cadaverous skull with tibias. The first step of the pedestal with moulded upper edges, on the front an engraved inscription (2). The second step of the pedestal finished with a simplified beam covered with a panel. On the four sides of the pedestal, carved frames, in the front carved inscription (1).
