Moniuszko family tombstone

Burial place originally marked by a cross on a three-stepped plinth and base. Chamfered cross on high moulded plinth. On the front in the panel an engraved inscription. The first step of the plinth with chamfered upper edges. The second step with chamfered quarter-circle upper edges, on the front a panel with quarter-circle chamfered corners in it a pseudo-relief inscription. The third step of the pedestal surmounted by a hipped roof, on the front and sides panels with a pseudo relief inscription. A crumpled, broken cross lies beside the tombstone.

Additional information:

According to Lucjan Uziębła's file, the gravestone was originally framed by a metal fence. Wacław Wejtko, referring to Antoni Łazarowicz, gave the inscription: Moniuszko / Leopold / doctor of the 108th regiment of the Russian army / born 1817 + 1876 //. and the information that Leopold Moniuszko's underage brothers Antoni and Józef and his sisters Maria and Anna are buried in the same place.
