Biography:

Karol Zaremba (1846-1897), Polish architect. Member of the Cracow Technical Society. Together with Stanisław Domański, he was in charge of Kraków's waterworks. As an architect, he created mainly public utility buildings inspired by Berlin's late Historicist architecture. He designed, among others, the edifice of the Charitable Society with a chapel from 1881-1883 in Koletek Street, a church in Lubzin (with Teodor Talowski, 1893-1903) and a branch of the Polish Gymnastic Society "Sokoł" in Stanisławów.
