Biography:

Wawrzyniec Dajczak (1882-1968), born in Reniów, son of Maciej, architectural engineer. He studied at the Faculty of Architecture of the Lwów Polytechnic, graduating in 1915. He was a member of the underground organisation "ZET", and of the social and educational organisation called Towarzystwo Szkoły Ludowej. He was a founder of the Bartosz Squads, an independence organisation for rural youth. In 1918 he was a member of the Supreme Command for the Defence of Lwów and mobilisation manager of the Polish Military Cadres. He designed and built around 100 churches.
