Franciszek Maksymilian Ossoliński (1676-1756), son of Maksymilian Franciszek Ossoliński and Teodora Krassowska. He was a confidant of King Augustus II, serving as his private secretary. He joined the Sandomierz Confederation. He was involved in political life, being, among other things, a deputy of the Warsaw region at the 1720 Sejm. He also took part in battles against the Russian army. As a result, he was taken prisoner. He never accepted the election to the throne of August III. He later became a close associate of Stanisław Leszczyński, at whose court he stayed from 1736.
