Biography:

He completed his studies in philosophy and theology at the University of Wrocław, and was ordained a priest in 1912. In 1919 he became the chief chaplain of the uprising troops, took part in the Silesian Uprising and the Polish-Bolshevik war. From 1923, he was pastor of the parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Brzeziny Śląskie, and from 1933 to 1939 he was pastor of the parish of St Barbara in Królewska Huta. After the outbreak of war, he left for France, where he became an official of the Polish Field Curia, and from 1941 pastor of the Polish Army in the Middle East. He also took part, among other things, in the Battle of Monte Cassino. After the Second World War he moved to Great Britain. He became pastor of the Polish parish on Devonia Road in London.
