Biography:

He studied in Krakow, Lvov and Munich. From 1909 to 1916, he worked at the Agricultural Department of the National Department in Lvov. From 1916, he worked at the University of Lwów, then at the University of Poznań, where he headed the Department of Social Economy. From 1922, employed at the University of Warsaw. In the academic year 1928/1929, he served as Dean of the Faculty of Law, in 1930/1931 and 1933/1934 as Vice-Chancellor, and in 1929/1930 as Rector. He belonged to scientific organisations. During the Second World War, he went with the Anders Army to London via Kazakhstan. He worked in the Department of Economics at Oxford University, and was Dean of the Polish Faculty of Law (1944-1947). He headed the Department of Economics and from 1951 served as Rector of the Polish University Abroad
