Biography:

Tytus Komarnicki (1896-1969) was born in Jordanowice (part of Grodzisk Mazowiecki). He studied law at the University of Tartu and the University of Warsaw, as well as at the Sorbonne. At the latter, he obtained his doctorate in 1923. In Paris, he graduated from the Diplomatic Faculty of the School of Political Science. From 1920, he worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He worked at a post in Belgrade from 1920 to 1924. In 1928 he worked in Berlin, then at the Vatican and in The Hague. From 1940 to 1943, he served unofficially as delegate of the Polish Government in Exile to France.
