Maria Gałynska (1902-1986), Polish teacher with a doctorate, emigration activist, wife of Stefan Gałynski. From 1947 to 1948, she was headmistress of the 1st Stefan Żeromski Secondary School in Zawiercie. From 1970 to 1972, she was a minister in the Polish Government in Exile.
