Władysław Kozicki's article 'Józef Mehoffer', published in the periodical 'Sztuki Piękne', 1926/1927, no. 10-11, pp. 364-411, presents Mehoffer's artistic achievements and his approach to art, comparing them with the achievements of other Polish artists, including Wyspiański. The artist's most important realisations in Poland and abroad are presented, including the completed stained glass windows in the Collegiate Church of St. Nicholas in Fribourg (1895-1936) and the mosaic in the dome and pendentives of the Armenian Cathedral in Lviv (1912-1913).
