Stained-glass windows 'Saints of Padua': Prosdocim, Anthony, Justina and Daniel

The four stained glass windows of the series "Paduan Saints", depicting St Prosdoccimo, St Anthony, St Justina and St Daniel, were created by Richard Demel between 1977 and 2006 and are located in the crypt of the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta in Padua (exact address: via Dietro Duomo 5).

The representation of the most important saint, St Anthony, was placed on the left side of the tondo with the Virgin Mary, and the image of St Prosdocimus on the right. The stained glass window with St Justina is located next to St Anthony, closer to the entrance. The saint is placed against the background of the bridge where she was murdered. On the opposite side, symmetrically, is a representation of St Daniel, shown with a board nailed on. Such a long time for the creation of the stained glass windows is due to the artist's illness.
