Paintings by Wilhelm Kotarbinski in the St Vladimir's Cathedral in Kiev from 1888-1895 from the Kiev artist's period. Wilhelm Kotarbinski was, together with Pavel Swiedomski, the author of the representations in the side aisles: "Entry into Jerusalem", "Lord's Supper", "Crucifixion", "Christ before Pilate". Compositions executed independently by Kotarbiński are: "Transfiguration of the Lord" (in the southern nave of the Council), "Ascension" (in the northern nave) and a series of frescoes thematically referring to the Book of Genesis: "The Fourth, Fifth, Sixth and Seventh Days of Creation" and numerous portraits of saints, including: Pafnucci, Varlamus, Nikita the Servant.
