Biography:

Jerzy Bogusław Mokrzyński (1909-1997), born in Rzeszów. He studied architecture at the Lviv Polytechnic and the Warsaw Polytechnic. He obtained his diploma in 1935. A year later, together with two of his fellow students in Warsaw: Wacław Kłyszewski and Eugeniusz Wierzbicki, they founded the "Tigers" group. They carried out many projects together, including the Party House in Warsaw and the Railway Station in Katowice. He took part in the 1939 Defence War and was a member of the Home Army. He was one of the esteemed architects representing the modernism style.
