Biography:

Teresa Brzóskiewicz (1929-2020), Polish sculptor. She studied at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Sopot and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Her works include: Prometheus of the Ghetto, Banners, Hymn Warszawianka, Two Rivers, Chopin Competition, bust of Ignacy Domeyko at the University of Warsaw or medallion and plaque commemorating Ernest Malinowski in Lima. She also created allegorical sculptures set up in Warsaw's public space, such as Vistula or Spring. In 1980, she was awarded the Distinguished Cultural Service badge.
