Biography:

Jerzy Jarnuszkiewicz (1919-2005), born in Kalisz. He studied at the Institute of Fine Arts in Cracow (1936-1938). A year later he obtained a diploma from the Municipal School of Decorative Arts in Warsaw. Between 1947 and 1950, he studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. As a student, he designed the Little Insurgent statue. He participated in the 1st Biennale of Spatial Forms in Elbląg. He has realised many sculptures, bas-reliefs, coins and medals.
