The article "Expansion of the Lviv Polytechnic" published in the periodical "Świat", 1938, no. 51, p. 19 (public domain, reprinted after the Mazovian Digital Library) contains information about the beginning of construction of new buildings of the Polytechnic in Stryiska Street, which were to house the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. The Faculty was to begin operating in 1941, and the article contains a reproduction of a design of one of the buildings to be erected.
