Biography:

Julian Oktawian Zachariewicz-Lwigród (183-1898)- Polish architect, professor and rector of the Lviv Polytechnic, conservationist. From 1871 he was full professor at the Academy and dean of the Faculty of Building at the Technical Academy in Lwow. The first rector of the academy after its renaming as the Polytechnic School in the years 1877-1878 and 1881-1882. In 1877 he received the Austrian nobility of the second degree. A representative of historicism in architecture. He designed, among others, the building of the Technical University in Lwow and the building of the Faculty of Chemistry.
