Biography:

Anna Ślesińska (1926-1994), born in Poznań. She studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow (1948-1949). She attended the studio of Xawery Duninikowski. She then continued her education at the Academy in Warsaw. In 1958, an exhibition of her works was held in Paris at the Musée d'Art Moderne, which brought the artist recognition abroad. Her work can be found in many Polish and foreign museums, including: the Rijksmuseum, Kröller-Müller in Otterlo (Netherlands) and the Fonds National d'Art Contemporain in Paris.
