Biography:

Cyprian Paweł Brzostowski (1612-1688), born in Michaliszki. In 1640 he became a regent of the Lithuanian greater chancellery, in 1642 a stolnik of Vilnius, in 1645 secretary to the king and decree writer of Lithuania. In 1650-1681 he was the registrar of Lithuania, in 1657-1672 he was the great writer of Lithuania, in 1667-1672 he was the forester of Sokolsk. Grand deputy in Moscow in 1667 and in 1679. Castellan of Trakai in 1681, Governor of Trakai in 1684. Director of the Troki pre-sejm assembly 1685.
