Biography:

Joseph Bohdanowicz (1787-1846). In 1804 he entered the Congregation of Missionary Fathers. He taught theology in Illukt. There the missionaries ran a seminary and a six-class school, which was subordinate to Vilnius University. In 1822 he became pastor of the parish on Mount Saviour.
