Andrzej Antoni Widelski (1953-2017), born in Bełżyce, painter, graphic artist and doctor of art. Studied in the atelier of Professor Marian Stelmasik at the Art Institute of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. He obtained his diploma in painting in 1982. He worked as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Graphics of the University of Technology in Katowice.
