Tombstone of Aloysius and Aloysia Sciskalow

Karviná | Czech Republic

The burial place marked by a cross on a stele and a two-stage plinth. The first step of the plinth terminating in a dodger, the second with chamfered upper edges. Cross with arms ending in a stylised trillium, arched widening at the lower end. Stele terminating in a semicircular overhanging arch. In it a panel with a simple frame repeating the form of the finial. In its finial a ceramic medallion with a convex head of Christ wearing a crown of thorns. Below an oval photograph of a woman and an engraved inscription (1). Cd. of the inscription on the first step of the pedestal (2). In the upper left corner, space for a planned but unrealised porcelain portrait of the deceased.
