Biography:

Feliks Lachowicz (1884-1941), born in Drohobych, son of Marcin and Maria née Jach, draughtsman, watercolourist, painter and sculptor. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, did not complete his studies due to financial reasons. Worked at the "Galicia" refinery. Arrested by the NKVD in 1940, sentenced to 5 years in a labour camp. After his release in 1941 under the so-called Sikorski Amnesty, all trace of him disappeared.
