Biography:

Bronislaw Krzysztof (1956-) is a Polish sculptor, medallist and designer. Since 1981, the artist has pursued his own projects, focusing on sculpture, medallion-making and design. He specialises in interior design as well as graphic and poster arts. For the past 25 years, he has been a designer at SISLEY Cosmetics Paris, designing cosmetics and interior styling elements. His oeuvre includes more than 160 sculptures, which have been presented in more than 40 solo exhibitions and more than 160 group exhibitions all over the world (apart from Poland, in the USA, Japan, France, Great Britain, Spain or Italy, among others). The artist also owns his own gallery, where his works are presented. In addition, he has realised numerous works in the public space, including a sculpture of Maria Skłodowska-Curie in Warsaw, the DNA monument in Wrocław and the RZEŹBA-GRANIT exhibition in the courtyard of the Royal Palace of the Wrocław City Museum. He has recently completed a monument commemorating General Maczek in Edinburgh. He is the recipient of many awards and honours, such as the Gold Medal at the VII Biennale Internazionale Dantesca in Ravenna (1985) and the Silver Medal for Merit to Culture Gloria Artis (2016). He actively participates in various artistic organisations such as POLART, FIDEM and the Association of Polish Artists.
