The text describes Druskininkai, located in Grodno Governorate. The history of the place is recalled, connected with the search for salt deposits in the times of Sigismund Augustus. In the 1830s, efforts were made to bring a mineral water plant. Residences of, among others, the Czetwertyńskis, Lubeckis, Oginskis and others appeared in Druskininkai at that time. Among others, J.I.
