Prof. Barbara Kryżan-Stanojević, was affiliated with the Polish Academy of Sciences since 1974, where she obtained her doctoral degree in 1983; she continued her academic career at the University of Zagreb, where she served as a Polish language teacher since 1993 and was appointed associate professor in 2011. Prof. Kryžan-Stanojević was the author of numerous scientific works and translator of many scientific publications and fiction.
