Information about the object:
Kuty is a village, situated on the upper Prut River in the historical region of Pokuttya. It is a health resort as well as a centre of the wood industry and local handicrafts. Kuty was first mentioned in 1469. The village was described as part of the estate of the Ruthenian Voivode Jan Odrowaz. In addition to the native Poles, a large part of the inhabitants were Polish Armenians (Poles of Armenian origin, Catholics of the Armenian rite), who had been coming to this area from the territory of present-day Moldavia since the 16th century. In the interwar period, Kuty was the largest concentration of Armenians in the Second Polish Republic (the town was called the small capital of Polish Armenians).

The church was recovered by the parish community in 1990. Between 1997 and 2001, restoration work was carried out by the Polish Community. Since 2014, the renovation and conservation work was resumed by the Society of Academic Tradition. In 2019, the conservation and reconstruction of the polychrome of the music choir was carried out. Conservation work on the church in Kuty has been ongoing for more than 20 years.

Completed works:
The task is the seventh and final stage of conservation work on the façade of the Church of Christ the King in Kuty. Christ the King Church facade in Kuty (work on the colour layers).

Within the framework of the 2020 subsidised task, conservation and renovation work was carried out on the south façade with the gable over the chancel, and the south façade was painted with the necessary simultaneous levelling of the slopes around the church. The surface area of all painted walls amounted to 670 m2. The exterior facades - north, chancel and south - were repaired and plastered. An additional effect of the project, crowning the work of the previous years and ensuring the overall safety of the monument, was the levelling work of the area around the church.
