Information about the object:
The Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Rava-Ruska was built according to a design by Pavel Fontana in 1737 as a single-nave building with a façade decorated with paintings. The church served its function until 1941. In Soviet times, after the war, both the church and the monastery buildings were turned into a kolkhoz warehouse and fell into disrepair. However, it is now being restored to its former glory to once again become a centre of Polish religious and cultural life.

Work completed:
The project included: study works, expert opinions and design works (development of a functional programme with conservation guidelines for the sacristy and development of a construction project for the reconstruction of the sacristy with a cost estimate); revitalization construction works on the sacristy in its raw state (preparatory and demolition works, masonry works of the sacristy, crowns, execution of the roof with ceramic tile covering and flashings). The qualitative result of the project will be the restoration of the church to its proper condition.
