Information about the object:
This rich historical material was used in the editorial development of the source book: Jerzy Giedroyc, Stefan Kisielewski, Letters 1946-1991 (published in the series Archiwum Kultury). The publication is a continuation of the publishing series disseminating source research on the history of the Parisian 'Culture' and the Literary Institute, as well as country-emigration relations after the Second World War.

Completed works:
The aim of the project was to carry out scientific archive searches at: The Literary Institute in Maisons-Laffitte, the Stefan Kisielewski Archive in Warsaw and the Institute of National Remembrance.

As part of the implementation of the activities, archival queries were carried out; copyrights were purchased, editorial and editorial work was carried out in order to publish and disseminate the book.

The queries made it possible not only to read the content of the letters scientifically, but also provided a source basis for the creation of comprehensive commentaries, without which the presented correspondence would be illegible for contemporary readers.

The 2020 publication marked the 20th anniversary of the death of editor Jerzy Giedroyc.
