Monument to Władysław Sikorski in Gibraltar

The Wladyslaw Sikorski Memorial in Gibraltar commemorates the accident in which General Sikorski was killed with his wife, daughter and seven others in 1943. It is located in the Europa Point area to the south. It was unveiled in 2013. The object's oval base is 5m in diameter and its height is 3m. A propeller with an arch with a Polish military eagle is placed in the centre. The original monument was erected in 1945 and consisted of just the propeller and an inscription plaque. It was located on the site of Gibraltar Airport.
